The Iomega Camo eGo is a standard portable HDD, with a slightly ruggedized enclosure and a funky camouflage paint job. As far as rugged components go, it has a rubber drop guard that would likely protect your hard drive from some minor bumps and drops (it is good for up to sixty-inches) and would certainly help to prevent it slide off slippery surfaces. While not true rugged technology, it is cheap and kinda looks the part.
As far as specifications go, there is nothing terribly out of the ordinary. It is preformatted for either MAC or Windows, has a capacity of 250GB and has port power. It only offers USB connectivity and weighs in at a little over half a pound. There is an Iomega click of death joke to be made here somewhere, but right now I am too tired to think of it. That and the fact that the guys at Iomega have done a pretty good job of reinventing their company as a manufacturer of cool-looking portable hard disk drives. It is a competent hard drive at a reasonable price, you could do worse.
