You can now catch tonight’s presidential campaign online, at hulu.com LIVE, along with any other debates you may have missed, such as last week’s Palin vs. Biden contest. Hulu even has a live ticker of when the debates begin (8 hours and counting, as I post…)
The debates have been available before but only following the debate. As of tonight, hulu secured the rights to webcast the event live, according to PaidContent. Next Tuesday’s debate will also be live. A special hulu Election 08 page offers convenient access to all past debates, speeches and sound bytes. So, if you miss the debates tonight, you can always hulu-them later.
Hulu is the free offering from NBC Universal and News Corp. (so, of course, the site includes clips from Saturday Night Live’s Tiny Fey as Sarah Palin spoofs). The site launched last year and offers free on-demand streams of popular TV shows, including rebroadcasts of several new TV shows.
