Next week, Bandai's Tachikoma will hunt you down and look cute in front of you.

As best as can be told from the machine translated press release, it's a die-cast tie-in with Ghost in the Shell, simultaneously old-school in construction and modern in design. A 1/24 scale model about 9.5 centimeters tall, it has four legs, two arms, a 50mm grenade-launching mouth and arms that can be raised up for "cutely greetings."

There is also a "Department of Liquid Injection Equipment Pod," which forces me to imagine what kind of institution would have a department of liquid injection.

Anyway, hope for this at western import outlets some time after its Feb. 23 release date.
