Reference 3A has released a new "baby Grand Veena" model called the Episode, which is priced at $5500/pr and slots between the Veena and Grand Veena in the lineup. The Episode is essentially a smaller Grand Veena without the twin 8" bass drivers. Bass response is instead provided by Reference 3A's 7" hyperexponential carbon fiber mid-bass driver which is direct coupled to the amplifier.

The silk dome tweeter is designed to integrate with the direct coupled main driver, and uses only a single capacitor as a low frequency filter. Ultra high frequencies are provided by a .5" Murata ceramic dome super tweeter, which radiates by expanding and contracting in a spherical motion rather than a conventional piston motion, for wider dispersion. The super tweeter extends frequency response from 20kHz - 100khz.
