4 Hidden Innovations of the HTC Touch Diamond

In this video, the HTC’s Chief Marketing Officer, John Wang, discusses what’s called as the four hidden innovations of the HTC Touch Diamond. They’re probably termed as “hidden” because not all of us have been able to play with the handset yet, but anyhow, in a nutshell, the four are:

1. Approach sensitivity autofocus – the ability to autofocus the camera even if your finger is 1mm above the autofocus control.
2. Mutes your phone while ringing through an accelerometer function – nothing really new outside the Windows Mobile phone market, but still something noteworthy nonetheless
3. Sliding the stylus out while on the phone with someone will activate the Note screen. The note will then be attached to the contact who’s called you.
4. Sliding out the stylus while the phone is off would switch it on automatically.

For a more detailed description and demonstration of the four innovations of the HTC Touch Diamond, watch the video above.
