HTC Touch Diamond to be Sold First in Taiwan, Expects to Sell 2 Million Units This 2008

HTC Touch DiamondA press conference in Taiwan a couple of days ago, gives us a clue on HTC Touch Diamond’s availability and pricing. The HTC Touch Diamond will reportedly be available in Taiwan on carrier Chunghwa Telecom by late June of 2008. It will cost approximately AU$828, without a subscription contract, in the country.

The figure above is only meant as reference. Of course, price will vary depending upon the region, but at least now we have an idea of its price range. Aside from giving a projected date of release and market price, it was also discussed that HTC is expecting to sell more than 2 million units of the HTC Touch Diamond this 2008. Considering the handset is going to be released in 30 countries, and it’s pretty much successful in creating hype for itself, it might just be possible.
