LG has decided to release its W2442PA-BF 24 inch LCD monitor that comes jam packed with 300cd/m2 brightness level, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, Dynamic contraste feature, 2ms response time, 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios supported, 160 to 170 degrees viewing angle, 1 watt speakers, HDMI, DVI-D ports, and VGA port. Philips was the first to introduce its Ambilight technology in the market that aims to make your TV viewing experience as pleasant as possible, and this time round they have upped the ante with the Aurea II active frame. The image on the screen will be replicated in a glow form via an increased amount of LEDs in order to match whatever the screen color on the screen is at the moment. In Philips' own words, it "accurately identifies dominant on-screen colours and generates precisely matched ambient lighting both via the Active Frame and independently from all four sides of the screen onto a rear wall".
