After a bunch of leaked photos over the last couple of weeks, the KC780 officially joins the LG sharp-shooter ranks. Succeeding the affordable LG KC550, the KC780 is aiming at the mid-range market.

The main highlight of LG KC780 is quite obviously its 8 megapixel autofocus camera. It is also capable of shooting D1 (720 x 480 pixels) resolution videos at the cool 30fps. The camera has a long list of sweet sounding features. Those include face and smile detection, beauty shot, image stabilization and ISO 1600.

The display of LG KC780 is a 2.4" 262K-color unit of QVGA resolution. Some of the other niceties on-board are Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, USB v2.0 and a microSD card slot that tops 140MB of built-in storage. There is no 3G support, so EDGE will have to do for network data transfers.

The LG KC780 is also able to stream live video over Bluetooth connection with PC, which is a great way to have a webcam on you at all times.

The LG KC780 will be the mere 13.9mm thick, which is a feat considering the 8MP shooter and the large display. The tri-band (900/1800/1900) handset will start shipping as early as November this year at a price that's yet to be announced.

You collect all the batteries that no longer power all of your gadgets and you deposit them in the base of this lamp. The lamp then glows, because even a “dead” battery will be able to power an ultra-efficient light source. What we need are battery recycling programs where people can drop their batteries, so that they can power certain lights used around any given city. Pretty cool.

Ah, the weekend. Time for something a little lighter.

The Canadian comedy sketch show ‘This Hour has 22 Minutes’ did a piece not so long ago about Rogers and Canadian consumers that want the iPhone 3G. As you can see in the video below… Rogers isn’t shy about taking their customers for all they’re worth. It feels like it’s not far from the truth either!

If you read my blog the article about Phoenix Wright or Apollo justice review, you must know that Cowy (me), the owner of Cutie Gadget is really love Phonex wright series. I finished all 4 games and now waiting for the sequel. It might be Phoenix Wright 4, Apollo Justice 2 and in Japan it will be Gyakuten Saiban 5! which one will be the title? I don’t know actually.

The release date? Well, I don’t also know actually. Capcom said that they on progress in the game, it annouced in 2007 without further detail. They just said, the Gyakuten Saiban 5 will closed the whole story about Phoenix Wright and Apollo justice series. Another cool thing is: The one who Control the mess in Phoenix Wright Series is a Old Character who we really familiar! The Question is: Who that one?? Is our Favourite Phoenix Wright? Edgworth the handsome one? Wendy Oldber The “Ace Security”? Maya Fey? Godot Armando with Coffee? Or Even Iris, which doesn’t known is he married with Phoenix or not? This the mystery.

For Capcom, please I really beg to you: Make a really good ending for this series! Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice Nintendo DS games is really great! I really love it and want this one to have great ending with great story too.

One of the smart technologies found in the LG KC780 is Face Detection, and this will automatically find and focus on people’s faces so that the photographer is able to capture clearer portrait shots. In addition, LG’s Smile Detection technology is smart enough to recognize the angle of people’s mouths and adjust focus for faces. Good to see such features appear on a cell phone, where they were once the domain of dedicated digital cameras. While the LG KC780 won’t have the full functionality of a digital camera, it has enough to make this function as a backup just in case your primary shooter dies due to lack of battery or some other unfortunate inconvenience. You will be able to choose from automatic modes, a Beauty Mode that removes spots and imperfections on people’s faces, high ISO 1600, SmartLight setting for optimal brightness settings and an integrated Image Stabilizer.

You can also capture DVD resolution video with this, although I won’t expect many to use this feature due to the amount of memory such files take up. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity, a webcam function and Motion Sensor games. You will be able to pick up the LG KC780 this November in Europe, to be followed by Asian releases in due time.

Here’s a really neat idea, a solar powered fridge for camels so you can keep all your drinks while traveling with the Camel. This was actually primarily for transporting vaccines in the hot desert areas but heck, I’d use it to cool my beer too.

In transit, the lightweight, foldable solar panel powers the camel-pack refrigeration system. Once the camel convoy arrives at the remote health clinic site, the panel can be used in combination with larger solar panels to provide power for the health clinic. A foot-powered system provides backup and provides light in the clinic during extended operational hours when solar power is not available.
