According to Pr?ša:

It has five buttons, four of them you can use for traditional driving and when you press the last one, it unlocks the accelerometer control in the same way as in many driving games available on AppStore.

Intelliscreen has reached version 2.1, allowing users with jailbroken iPhones to quickly see what’s going on in their “mobile life” right from the standby screen.

Many of the known bugs are fixed and the application is now way more stable. In addition, languages were updated for Russian, French, Swedish, Czech and Brazilian/Portuguese.

As for the enhnacements, here’s what the Intelliscreen’s website says:

Quickview (replaces swipe for SMS/Mail - Allows Delete/Mark Read)

Swipe TimeDate to left hides IntelliScreen, swipe right shows

IntelliAlert Icon - You can swipe to dismiss IntelliAlerts

Double Tap Mail Box to advance to next Mail Account

SMS Launch takes you to SMS conversation

Mail Launch takes directly you to Mail item

More Frequent Alert Intervals Options

Alert Duration Interval

Skin view now allows choice of cell separator

IntelliAlerts for Calendar Invites

HTTPS support for RSS Feeds

Detailed Help

When SMS set to new only, shows all messages (no longer groups message by sender)

Improved IntelliDial Logo

Improved Mail Performance

Mail Options screen uses On/Off instead of checkmark to enable accounts

Taskbar Icons integration with BiteSMS

Again, you’ll need to have your iPhone jailbroken to run Intelliscreen. Afterwards, simply search for it via Installer.app, and take it from there.

New Open Source Browser Combines Simple User-Interface with Sophisticated Technology

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) launched Google ChromeTM, a new open source browser intended to create a better web experience for users around the world. Available in beta in more than 40 languages, Google Chrome is a new approach to the browser that’s based on the simplicity and power that users have come to expect from Google products.

In the early days of the Internet, web pages were frequently little more than text. But today the web has evolved into a powerful platform that enables users to collaborate with friends and colleagues through email and other web applications, edit documents, watch videos, listen to music, manage finances and much more. Google Chrome was built for today's web and for the applications of tomorrow.

“We think of the browser as the window to the web – it’s a tool for users to interact with the web sites and applications they care about, and it’s important that we don’t get in the way of that experience," said Sundar Pichai, Vice President of Product Management, Google Inc. "Just like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome has a simple user interface with a sophisticated core to enable the modern web."

Making the web experience better for users
Google Chrome was designed to make it easy for users to search and navigate the web for the content they’re looking for.

A combined search and address bar quickly takes users where they want to go, often in just a few keystrokes.

When users open a new tab in Google Chrome, they'll see a page that includes snapshots of their most-visited sites, recent searches and bookmarks, making it even easier to navigate the web.
Google Chrome was engineered to deliver a seamless web experience for users. At its core is a multi-process platform that helps provide users with enhanced stability and security.

Each browser tab operates as a separate process; by isolating tabs, should one tab crash or misbehave, others remain stable and responsive, and users can continue working without having to restart Google Chrome.
Google also built a new JavaScript engine, V8, which not only speeds up today's web applications, but enables a whole new class of web applications that couldn't exist on today's browsers.

Contributing to the innovation of browsers through openness
"While we see this as a fundamental shift in the way people think about browsers, we realize that we couldn’t have created Google Chrome on our own,” said Linus Upson, Director of Engineering, Google Inc. “Google Chrome was built upon other open source projects that are making significant contributions to browser technology and have helped to spur competition and innovation.”

To further advance the openness of the web, Google Chrome is being released as an open source project under the name Chromium. The intent is that Google will help make future browsers better by contributing the underlying technology in Google Chrome to the market, while continuing to develop additional features.

How to get Google Chrome
Google Chrome can be downloaded at www.google.com/chrome. It is being released in beta for Windows in over 100 countries in the following languages: Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Spanish (Latin America), Turkish, English (US), English (UK), Arabic, Czech, Danish, Hebrew, Hindi, Norwegian, Polish, Swedish, Indonesian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Filipino, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Serbian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Estonian.

Google Chrome for Mac and Linux users will be available in the coming months. For more information on the open source project, Chromium, visit www.chromium.org.

EDITOR'S NOTE: For screen shots or b-roll, visit www.google.com/chrome/press.

About Google Inc.
Google's innovative search technologies connect millions of people around the world with information every day. Founded in 1998 by Stanford Ph.D. students Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Google today is a top web property in all major global markets. Google's targeted advertising program provides businesses of all sizes with measurable results, while enhancing the overall web experience for users. Google is headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. For more information, visit www.google.com.

The Vulcanus casemod was designed by Czech blacksmith Sergej and forged in the depths of hell. The whole freaking thing is made from hammered steel weighs in at over 110 lbs. Impressive, Sergej, but not as impressive as my case. It's a little something I like to call my PB Case. Get it, instead of PC it's PB because I made it out of lead. Oh, hold on. Damnit Jack, what did I tell you about chewing on daddy's computer? That's right, it's delicious. Now let your sister have a bite.

Hit the jump for some closeups that really show the thing off, along with a video that reminds me of a satanic porno I watched in high school.

You could do all your computing on a lightweight MacBook Air, but a real manly man would use this computer that’s so beefy that it could smash your lightweight girly-man system into a fine pulp.

Hand-forged from steel by an honest to goodness blacksmith, Vulcanus is one bad mofo of a PC. Created by Czech builder Sergej, the Vulcanus will crush all other computers that stand in its way.

Inside and out, the PC is constructed from hammered steel parts that each probably weigh more than your measly little laptop.

I especially love the hand-hammered bolt details and oxidized metal finishes.

click to view this video clip

All told, the finished Vulcanus weighs in at over 110 pounds, or about 5 times the heft of your average full sized tower PC. The last time I remember a computer that weighed this much was the original Mac Portable.

Now in his 80s, Tichy and his works have only recently (as far as the art world goes) been discovered. And like all good photographers, he trained his intentionally imperfect camera rigs on the considerably more refined female form.

A little more analog than the amazing HD trash projectors we've seen, but that's exactly the point; Tichy described his trash cams as being the only way to add enough poetic imperfections to photography, describing his philosophy with the fantastic maxim: "If you want to be famous, you have to do whatever you're doing worse than anyone else in the whole world."
His subject matter was mostly regular folks in his small Czech town doing what they do, and naturally he gravitated toward the ladies, who look great in Tichy's proto-Lomography style.
There's currently an exhibition of Tichy's work at the Centre Pompidou in Paris that looks fantastic. The NASA concept car (which, as far as we can tell, has nothing to do with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, though it looks like astronauts are driving it) has some pretty radical features that are immediately appealing. It has a sleek hood rather than doors — keeping the passengers more stable and safe — and dynamic wheels that'll let you pull off hairpin turns, allow the car to move perpendicularly in a snap, and even spin in place.

Oh, how we wish a vehicle like this would come out already so we wouldn't have to smash off any more bumpers. And some protection up top for those heads poking out would be nice, too. It was designed by Czech students Marek Kedzierski and Michal Vlček, studying at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín.

Check out the gallery below for more of the NASA concept car.
