You get what you pay for. I took a chance and thought it would be 1/2 decent at least. Well, it wasn't. We usually have good luck with the Coby products but not the cassette adaptor we bought. We got this one so my wife could listen to her iPod in the car. This one has outlasted the Coby and really has taken a pretty good beating because of the heat in S. Florida vehicles during the summer. I am pleasantly surprised with its performance, and for the money you can't beat this one.

Didn't even work (2008-07-30)
This tape deck just kept automatically ejecting when I got it. I thankfully managed to use it as scrap to fix my broken cassette adapter. I would only buy this item if you want to spare part the cord from it.

Something for the cheap guy (2008-07-02)
It works. Not too well always, but it works. The FM transmitter works more reliably, but it damn well better for the price you pay. This is acceptable and gives sound most of the time. For some reason it only works on the right side speakers. I cant make it work on the left side at all. It isnt the car stereo, because those speakers work with other tapes. It still sounds good and loud, but if your picky and dont want the wire sticking out of the cassete deck, then spend the money. Dont have money or dont want to spend, then this is perfect. If it is a little tweaky, remember you paid less than 5 dollars for it.

puto joto talal.

tags : gadget

The thought of getting carpal tunnel is a terrifying one if you spend a large amount of time on the computer. Therefore products that help prevent it become extremely necessary to prevent this from happening. Well now you can pick up a set of two severed body parts to make sure your wrist stays well cushioned. The foot looks a little more awkward to use, since it looks like it could be easily knocked over. Yet, does it really matter as long as you have your fake squishy body parts to rest your wrist on?

The hand looks easy enough to use and you could always lay the foot out at different angles. I’m sure it would get you some odd looks from your coworkers at least. These of course come from the infamous Brando. The wrist rests can also be sold in wholesale if you want just a giant box of body parts lying around in your apartment for Halloween. Which of course, everyone does. To pick up the set of two it will cost you $17.90.

Each of Toby’s creations are unique in their own sense, and have their own personality to boot, although you will find that old picnic coolers and vacuum cleaner parts form the majority of the body parts. Sizes vary as well, ranging from 28″ tall all the way to 58″ in height. These pieces of techno-artwork won’t come cheap though, as prices hover between the $1,800 and $1,900 points.

Sony’s got its fingers dipped into the whole gamut of consumer electronics, and has just unveiled the wireless Vaio CP1 Wi-Fi photo frame that aims to make it a snap to share your favorite digital moments with family and friends, in addition to receiving news while streaming Internet radio in real time. This is clearly a step above other regular digital photo frames that does nothing but play a slideshow in a loop, while others are able to play MP3 tunes as well, but the Sony Vaio CP1 certainly goes one up on those departments with its built-in wireless connectivity.

The 7″ LCD display itself has a 800 x 480 resolution and is able to show 16 million colors simultaneously. Seriously, with a screen size that small, it won’t really matter too much whether you have 16 million colors or not, after all, it is not as though you are holding an art exhibition on a bunch of LCD displays. Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi technology, the CP1 model is able to streaming images from a Vaio PC and hook up to Google Picasa web albums for you to view up to a quartet of web albums at the same time. Heck, you can also use the CP1 to upload photos directly to a Picasa account if you fancy.

Good thing it came with a bunch of memory card slots just like other plain Jane digital photo frames. The CP1 is able to work with Memory Stick media, SD/MMC memory cards and CompactFlash media cards. The internal storage isn’t too much to shout about at 128MB, but that is easily offset by being connected to an online photo album which has virtually unlimited storage. Nice to see Sony throw in an RSS reader that makes it a snap for you to capture the latest news headlines and entertainment content without firing up a computer. The Vaio CP1 digital photo frame will retail for approximately $300 as they’re released sometime in mid-October.

Wait, hold on! Don't buy an Xbox 360 today! Phew, that was close. Did I get you in time? I just wanted to make sure you knew the Xbox 360 gets $50 cheaper tomorrow.

The one with the big hard drive (which is black and also comes with its own HDMI cable) is now $400, the one with the small hard drive is $300, and the one with no hard drive (a.k.a. the "retard pack," because you're just going to have to buy an overpriced hard drive anyway, you retard) is $200. Actually, the retard pack was $280, so it got a price cut by $80. But it's still not enough to buy a hard drive, so don't think you're going to get a functional Xbox 360 for less than $300.

You're on the right track, Microsoft! Now how about lifting that silly monthly fee for Xbox Live?

Sony has recalled 73,000 Vaio laptops (according to Product Reviews anyway) that could carry a possible manufacturing defect, where the worst consequence would be an overheating issue. This problem is most likely due to the wiring near the laptop's hinge, potentially short circuiting the device that makes it overheat (and spontaneously combust in worst-case scenarios). A person has already suffered from a minor burn, while Sony has received another 15 reports concerning an overheated Vaio. The affected Vaio TZ models are the VGN-TZ100, VGN-TZ200, VGN-TZ300 and VGN-TZ2000, so if you own any of those, make sure you don't place it on your lap while doing some work, not unless you want the family jewels to turn into ash.

As Mossberg and his partners so often do, Katherine mentions Apple's darling just as much as the topic of the review itself, and while she seemed impressed with the hardware, it was the software that suffered the brunt of her attacks. She proclaimed that "despite its handsome TouchFLO 3D software and animated icons, the device failed to disguise the frustrating interface of Windows Mobile often enough for [her] taste." Beyond that, she also found room to gripe about the "cramped" keyboard, which she felt was "next to impossible" to use with just her fingertips. On the plus side, she did give the browser a decent amount of praise, but if you were looking for support from this critic before picking up the forthcoming handset, you'll be sorely disappointed.

[Via phonescoop]

Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments

The speakers are very good for the size. The case secures the system very well and is small enough to carry in my backpack. It would also fit very nicely in your suitcase. We have used it in our hotel room and at the pool. I don't know if I would use it on the beach. Would have to be careful not to get sand or water in the docking station.
It charges your ipod when plugged into a wall socket, a very nice feature. I had no problem with understanding the system and is very easy to use. The remote is a nice feature and was easy to use also.
Overall, a very nice speaker system for the money and I am very satisfied.

Perfect solution! (2008-08-30)
We wanted small, portable speakers for our ipods but with high-quality sound, and this product fulfilled our needs. The sound is fantastic, and it looks cool too. It's light and portable with a great case for travel. Also, this vendor provided very fast shipping.

Great portable Ipod Speaker System (2008-08-16)
I have had the speaker system for about a month and love it. It sounds good. It fills the room but not the house with clean sound. The battery charges quickly and lasts me about 6 hours. Higher volume reduces the battery time. The charger works well and the indicator lights are useful to tell when the battery is fully charged and when recharging is needed again. The case is a handy feature for traveling with your speakers.
For the money these are the best portable speakers I have found for the Ipod. The Bose may sound better but at 5 times the cost were not worth it for me.

great buy (2008-08-09)
This is a great speaker system for the cost. And I love that it came with a travel case. The only issue I have had with it so far is that my nano doesn't rest in the plastic adapter well. But it's not really a big deal, I simply place my nano on the system without the plastic adapter and it works.

does not work properly (2008-08-03)
Portable speakers do not hold a charge at all. Will only work if plugged in which was why we purchased them in the first place so we can take it places. Product would be great if it worked properly. We love the speakers but they just are defective and we think we deserve new ones.

tags : gadget
