The iDial Mobile application enables users to share their availability, presence and location information automatically. The application is able to fetch calendar and profile information from the user’s mobile phone. The application shows if the user is in a meeting or if they are available, and the mode of their mobile phone (shut off, meeting or mute mode). iDial Mobile application also identifies automatically the nearest WLAN and GSM network and shares the location of a community member. Users can also write personal messages in a status field, an option used widely in web communities.

Members of the iDial Mobile Community can place free VoIP calls over the Internet in WLAN or GSM networks. They can also send and receive chat messages and engage in multiple simultaneous chat sessions. With a poke functionality users can send and receive vibrating poke alerts to mobile phones. The features of iDial Mobile application include automatic updates of new versions and diverse options for user settings.


The user manages different functionalities of the iDial Mobile application through a personal web page. Users can update the internet phonebook, which also shows contacts’ calendar, presence and location details; invite new members to the community; engage in a chat session with an other user’s mobile phone; and send poke messages to a mobile phone. The personal web page includes also real-time calendar, presence and location information of the user.

Frankly, I take no sides in this political campaign but McCain is too OLD to be President.

I really like how McCain answer gay marriage question, couldn’t he just say that gay marriage should be allowed since if it’s not, it’s a prejudice against sexual orientation, thus against U.S. Constitution?

Well, I think being old has nothing to do with ANYTHING.  Look at Tiger Woods, he beat the crap out of everyone who’s OLD, made a new game out of golf.

Well, I am not taking sides here but McCain is definitely not it, I just don’t want to see another Bush marathon of U.S. economy collapse and $700 billion spent on rich people.  Just think about what happened yesterday when AIG decided to use $400,000 on corporate outing when their company is part of that $700 billion that I might be paying for!  Here’s the protest video.  I even predicted this couple days ago…

Google needs to convince handset manufacturers to replace the real-time operating systems that now power the majority of mobile phones. In the smartphone market of the future, users won’t always be aware of what they’re buying: they will buy simply because they’re in the market for a phone, not specifically a smartphone.

The challenge is to convince operators that having more phones in their lineups and more subscribers using those phones based on standardized operating systems is good for them. Standardization delivers easier manageability at the technical level and greater ease in marketing services to all their subscribers.

“The smartphone market has been moving in this direction for some time now,” Burden continues. “If Android is a success, it may be the tipping point that marks the start of a profound change in the smartphone market.”

To wrap it up, Nokia 6600 slide rounds off a nice little family get-together. It's a neat cross-section of the Nokia midrange from the basic comfort of the 3600 slide through the exquisite elegance of the 6600 flip. With some 6500 slide and classic in the distant background, Nokia 6600 slide is put right in the middle of a rich tale of family ties and heritage.

To begin with, 6600 slide tops the 3600 slide right where it counts: screen estate, 3G and looks. So, we guess, it's a point won for the 6600 slide.

The compact and suave slider is a good match for the outlandish charm of the 6600 fold. The 6600 pair does well to achieve cohesion and distinct identity but we can't help the thought that the specific targeting of the girly flip makes it a little bit more focused. Not to mention that it's a lot easier for the 6600 fold to get away with being overpriced.

So, we end up exactly where we were with the 6500 classic / 6500 slide duo. One is outspokenly driven by looks, the other tries to bring an extra dimension of skill but ends up harder to define and exposed to a lot more pressure.

Either Aussie singer/guitarist Josh Pyke shrunk to a tenth his size, or somebody built a scaled-up replica of his Maton acoustic guitar. Indie rocker Pyke takes a ride on the seaworthy mega-guitar in an upcoming music video of his song "Make You Happy," released last Friday. By the way, the guy is a really good guitarist/singer/songwriter.

It looks like it would be pretty hard to actually play a song on this guitar-zilla unless he could get a couple of assistants to stand on the proper frets. But this guy Josh, we'll just call him Captain Pyke, our real guitar hero. That does it — we want a submarine shaped like a saxophone.
