Rovio is a robot equipped by webcam. Applies WiFi technology which controlled by streaming media. With this gadget, you can watch special places, family, looking after animal and house from everywhere.

To ease the spying, Rovio is equipped by camera with elastic handle. It’s bendable to all directions. More, anything seen and heard by Rovio, you can know also through its display in PC, video game device or cellphone through the internet network.

Via NorthStar Navigation software help, that integrated with micro GPS system, Rovio automatically can reach the target or knows the location of object accurately, via the guidance of this navigation mapping systems.

This robot also functioned as security guard. What more interesting, Rovio designed to do battery recharging individually, by the way returning to its base.

Uh oh, it looks like we’ve got a full-fledged robot controversy on our hands. At the heart of it, as you might have guessed, is the recent obliteration of a harmless Pleo by a so-called ComBot known as Vicious Verdict at Maker Faire 2008. According to a UGOBE rep posting on the PleoWorld forum, the company is having none of it, saying that the “stunt” was done without its authorization or approval, and that there was “quite a ruckus” about it in UGOBE’s office after they learned of the incident. The rep went on to add that many people, including the UGOBE reps at their Maker Faire booth were “shocked and appalled” by the act, and that they “make emotional bonds with Pleo too.” The rep did seemingly confirm that the Pleo in question was in fact provided by the company, however, saying that, “it is perhaps a small consolation to know that the Pleo destroyed was a factory prototype.” A cuddly, cuddly factory prototype.

This is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Since getting a Pleo a few months ago, we’ve basically given the bugger a name and gotten to know its personality. To watch this Combot tear Pleo up at Maker Faire is like watching a wolf eat a mouse — it’s no contest
Basically Ugobe donated Pleo for this contest and they put it in with Vicious Verdict, a combat robot used for Battlebot contests. Once VV winds up a little, all hell breaks loose. Very, very sad… and kudos to Ugobe for making a device that humans can love.
