Electronics used to be just a bunch of humming beige boxes with blinking green lights. We’ve made a lot of progress in the last decade or so, and now electronics are mostly humming black boxes with blinking blue lights. This vase router take a refreshing approach, forming a wireless router into a sort of nuclear power plant shape with space for a flower in the top. If it’s got space for water in there, I imagine you could fill it with soil and actually get something to grow, and the radiation from the router will undoubtedly cause all kinds of exciting and potentially horrific mutations. Like exploding petunias. Kaboom!

Or, you could just set a vase on top of your existing router and try to grow something in that. Your call.

The video camera watch has a tiny video camera hidden in the watch fact, and comes with 8GB of storage, and records video at 15 fps at a resolution of 352 x 288.

As well as being able to record videos, this fun spy gadget can also be used to store your secret files on, as it can be used as an 8GB flash drive.

It comes with a built in mic, and connects to your PC via USB.

The Video Camera watch will be available soon from Chinavasion, there is no word on pricing as yet.

A lot of gadgets and genearly stuff that comes out on market these days is anything but original. As a matter of fact it is hard to make an original product in the world we live in without copying someone’s work. It happends, intentionaly or not, but it still happends. Nowadays inventors are faced with a huge challenge, it takes a lot more work and creativity to make something that hasn’t been made before. Things such as this router that is also a vase. Now, any normal person puts two and two together and askes them selves:”Why in the world would someone put water so close to electronics?” and the answer is simply because it hasn’t been done before, and it seems pretty safe too. Non the less it could easily be a hit whenever it comes on the market.

Some of you might be thinking that this device is not really very interesting. After all, you could just buy a wireless router and not risk the water damage that could happen when you spill it, for example.

However, I think we are getting to the point where every home has a wireless router. So why not make one that practical as well as practical. Okay, that wasn’t well said, but I think you see what I mean. You might as well make something technological fit in the home as if it belongs there.

I can’t help but wonder how comfortable a user would feel pouring water into a wireless router, much less dirt. I guess a user might feel better putting the seeds of life in it and letting plants grow as he or she goes online.

The company responsible for this product is a Saudi Arabian corporation called STC. My source doesn’t really have a price, nor where it is available. It could easily be a hit whenever it comes on the market.

Most people would agree that saving electricity in the home is a good thing. Even if you aren't a treehugger, cutting back on wasted power can save plenty of money on the electric bill.
